…and HEARD…In the Red Chair!

Welcome to “SCENE…and HEARD…In the Red Chair!”; my brand new, public, streaming, monthly, “non-blog”. Before we begin this new internet adventure (in the space where my online diary used to be), I’d like to state a few facts:

1) I am a filmmaker, not a vintner.

2) In the U.S.A., it’s perfectly legal to parody dead people and famous people.

3) The U.S.A. is a secular democracy. We have freedom of religion, and we have freedom from religion. (God Bless the U.S.A.!)

4) It is illegal to steal photos from another person’s website. (However, should you want to help me fund my next project, steal away! My legal eagle will be more than happy to sign you as one of my “investors”.)

5) I applaud (and tolerate) every American’s right to freedom of expression. (Yes, even Howard’s and Rush’s…)

6) I am not a part of a “media power couple”, except that I do have the power to think for myself. All Americans do. (God Bless the U.S.A.!)

7) If I could be born again, I’d like to come back as George Clooney. (Or, David Cross.)

8) I am fortunate to be surrounded by extremely talented and gifted friends, family members, and creative collaborators. In the months ahead, I’ll be presenting some of them to you.
